![]() In the midst of his research, a wormhole suddenly appears and whisks Copen, along with Lola and Kohaku, to a post-apocalyptic world where humans have gone extinct and robots called "Workers" work to revive what's left of the planet, whereupon they are greeted by a friendly Worker named Null. To kill time, Copen doubles down on his research and comes into possession of a damaged, key-shaped gun called a "Blaster Rifle", swiftly setting to work investigating and repairing this strange technology. It is the second game under the Gunvolt Chronicles banner, a spin-off series to the main Azure Striker Gunvolt games that takes place in an Alternate Continuity.įollowing the defeat of Demerzel and the downfall of Sumeragi's reign, the actions of Copen, the Luminous Avenger iX, have ushered in an era of peace to the world. They'll probably be 1/4 of the price in six months.Luminous Avenger iX 2 is an installment in the Azure Striker Gunvolt Series and a sequel to Luminous Avenger iX, developed by Inti Creates and released for all major 8th and 9th generation consoles and PC via Steam on January 27th, 2022. It's also very likely the prices will drop naturally as the current price point is just to milk the impatient fools who can't wait for this stuff. If folks don't like it then don't buy them and Inti Creates will get the message. And the point remains that it costs more to get those DLCs than the entire game. No idea what you mean on remixed levels as they just have a few alternate paths to account for abilities. I never thought it a big deal since almost all games have idiot products like this. I assume they're just "Idiot Products" where only clueless kids who buy everything will throw down cash on them. The price being a little higher doesn't mean the practice has changed.Īnd Blaster Master has a bunch of alternate in their games as does the Curse of the Moon games. Every single Inti Creates game seems to have alternate characters so you can replay the same game with a new skin for a cheap buck. Technically, I agree but most perspectives would say the DLC has always been a ripoff. Technically this is the worst Gunvolt DLC has gotten by far. Ix1 has one boss thats much cheaper than the ones from Ix2, and one song thats just unecessary.īurst has all those alternate characters, but you get multiple characters in each of the two DLCs, and a lot of them have remixed level designs. Almost every game has overpriced junk that you can ignore. DLC that I won't buy being in existence doesn't matter to me. As long as the main games are good, I'll always support Inti Creates. Yeah, I don't care if a company has overpriced junk that I don't need. They're no longer the respectable oldschool sidescrolling video gaming company beloved by most. won't care about the issues at all and gave up themselves first. Originally posted by Hotel Security: At this point I gave up and abandoned all my hopes to Inti. Its not worth dumping a developer who hasnt yet made a bad GV game I'm quite used to it at this point and it's just extra bells and whistles we don't need. ![]() Inti Creates ALWAYS has cheap DLC for their games.even Mighty Gunvolt had some. I always get these games for $10 or less and DLC are usually just one extra boss or playable character that I don't need for almost half the price I paid for the game. Why the sudden outrage? They're ALWAYS ridiculous. The games they make are just fine and very affordable but because they have a bunch of extra junk that you don't have to buy then they become evil? Do yourself a favor and stop worrying about crappy DLC and enjoy the games. Oh spare us the dramatics, you poor victim. At this point I gave up and abandoned all my hopes to Inti.
